The Fear Of God

In our generation, one of the most neglected themes addressed in the Scriptures is the subject of "The Fear of God."  It is my hope that this brief series of sermons will be used by God to help fill that void.  One of the most helpful studies of this subject was done back in the late 1960's by A.N. Martin.  I remember listening to those sermons in the early 1970's and being greatly blessed.  I acknowledge that much of what is included in the messages below has its source in those labors and I appreciate Pastor Martin giving me permission to lean heavily upon his previous work.  Other very helpful studies on this subject can be found in John Murray's Principles of Conduct, pp. 229-242, The Works of John Bunyan, vol. 1, pp. 437-491, an The Complete Works of William Bates, vol 3, pp. 167-229.  May our gracious God use these messages for His glory and for the good of our souls.
