What Is a Reformed Baptist Church?
The biblical truths, which were the basis of the Protestant Reformation and which were fleshed out more fully by the English Puritans and which were the foundation stones upon which this very nation was built have, for the most part, disappeared from modern Protestantism. Many of the major denominations were established upon these truths but have long since given them up and replaced them with more user-friendly concepts. As Reformed Baptists we are seeking to get back to our biblical roots.
The Bible clearly teaches that the Scriptures are the Word of God and therefore inerrant and infallible. The God of that Bible is sovereign over all things, including the salvation of His people. Man has rebelled against God and will taste His wrath because of it. Jesus Christ, the Son of God came and died to save His people from their sins. That salvation comes to man through faith alone in Christ alone, apart from any works which we can contribute. One who, through Christ, is right with God will demonstrate that by striving to keep the Law of God. The God of the Bible is to be worshiped only in the way He has commanded. If any of these biblical truths strike a cord in you, come and join us as we worship this God.
